Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital in Kimberley has hot water again after almost a month of going without.
Last week Fray News reported that the hospital had been without hot water for close to a month.
“We can confirm that we managed to restore the supply of hot water at the RMSH and everything is in place. The delay was made by our service provider because he had to wait for some materials that had to be brought to Kimberley so that he could do the necessary repairs,” said the MEC of Health in the Northern Cape, Maruping Lekwene.
Anthony Vassen, the provincial secretary of the Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa said they welcome the developments, but they want the department to do more to improve the health system in the province.
